A number of 794 buildings in Chisinau’s districts and all suburbs have been connected to the centralized heating system. The rest of the buildings are to be connected on November 13. <\/p>\n

Earlier, the Chisinau City Hall informed that over 900 apartment blocks and social buildings were not provided with heat as Moldova-Gaz on November 4 halted the supply of natural gas to Termocom owing to the latter’s debts.

\nTermocom SA calls on the housing sector administrators that have connection permits to immediately reconnect the apartment buildings to the heat supply, while those that do not have permits should take all the measures needed to obtain them. <\/p>\n

Under the memorandum signed by the City Hall, Moldova-Gaz and Termocom, the Chisinau Municipal Council is to approve a new heating tariff of 740 lei per gigacalorie. The Chisinau residents will pay only 540 lei per gigacalorie, while the rest will be covered from the municipal budget. <\/p>\n

The local authorities are to pay 148 million lei to Termocom, which is the current debt of the City Hall, and another 60 million lei that will be accumulated until this yearend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
