The Health Ministers of the Member States of the Southeast European Cooperation Process have come together in Chisinau for a meeting titled “Accomplishments and Prospects of Strengthening Health Systems by Reducing Inequity in Health Services in Southeastern Europe”. <\/p>\n

The event was organized by the Ministry of Health under the auspices of the Presidential Office of Moldova. The meeting is also attended by representatives of regional and international organizations.

\nThe meeting is a continuation of the discussions held at the World Health Organization Ministerial Conference in Tallinn in June 2008 and focuses on the accomplishments and prospects of strengthening the health systems. <\/p>\n

At the end of discussions, the participants will sign a statement to reiterate their commitments to support and encourage the efficient use of instruments for reducing inequity in the health systems, joining the cooperation efforts and insuring experience exchange in the given area. <\/p>\n
