The American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova (AmCham) successfully closed the fundraising campaign initiated in August to assist victims of this summer’s floods. Totally, AmCham members contributed almost 175,000 lei, making it possible to buy a new big, comfortable house for a 4-children family from Purcari village, Stefan-Voda. <\/p>\n

The Chamber donated to Gratii family a roomy, convenient house, provided with necessary utilities (gas, water), all equipped inside (furniture, dishes) and with a big yard, where children can play. <\/p>\n

According to AmCham Moldova, among the donators are small Moldovan companies and big international companies such as British American Tobacco, Coca-Cola HBC, Ecovit, Immunotehnomed, Moldcell, Red Union Fenosa, Sun Communications. <\/p>\n

AmCham is a nongovernmental nonprofit association of private business in Moldova. As a member of the 105 AmChams worldwide, the mission of the AmCham is to promote American trade and investment in Moldova and to work with the Moldovan government and business leaders to foster a favorable business climate for foreign trade and investment. <\/p>\n

Today, AmCham Moldova members are almost 60 companies ranging from large international companies to small Moldovan companies. All the members are role-model business leaders with a common interest in improving the business climate and increasing foreign trade and investment in Moldova. <\/p>\n
