The number of units of public transport working on routes in Chisinau will be increased as from September 1. The buses and trolleybuses that did not work in summer owing to the reduced passenger flows will resume work. <\/p>\n

At Monday’s meeting of the Chisinau City Hall, Veaceslav Terna, the head of the General Division of Public Transport and Communication Ways, said that 108 buses and 286 trolleybuses will work from next week, as against 94 buses and 234 trolleybuses at present. <\/p>\n

According to Terna, the bus and trolleybus timetables are now being drawn up. Maps with the bus routes will be posted at stations. <\/p>\n

Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca demanded that measures are taken to remove the unauthorized parking lots, especially those located in crowded places.
