The Voice of Roma Coalition (CVR) has launched a campaign to raise funds for flood victims titled ?Person by Person, Hand by Hand?. <\/p>\n

CVR Secretary General Marin Alla said on Friday, August 1, that the created situation is the responsibility of the whole society, not only of the state authorities. ?We try to mobilize the Roma ethnics in support of those affected by inundations, but the funds collected will not be distributed according to ethnic criteria,? Alla said. <\/p>\n

The funds and basic necessities will be collected through the 17 organizations that represent the Voice of Roma Coalition. <\/p>\n

The Coalition members said that the campaign will be as transparent as possible. The CVR Secretariat will draw up a list of the donors that will be posted on the Internet. <\/p>\n

A similar campaign was launched by the Chisinau City Hall.
