The heavy rain and hail that fell on July 8 caused damage in a number of settlements of the country. <\/p>\n

According to the Interior Ministry’s Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, 43 hectares of vineyards were affected by hail in Cioburciu village in Stefan Voda district. The damage caused was assessed at 303,000 lei (about 20,000 euros). <\/p>\n

The rain and hail also affected 70 hectares of vineyards in Tvardita village in Taraclia district. The district emergencies commission is now assessing the damage caused in this settlement. <\/p>\n
