The marks of 51% of the students that disputed the Baccalaureate exam results were raised by one point, while the marks of 5% of these were increased by 2-3 points. <\/p>\n

Adrian Ghicov, the head of the Assessment and Examination Agency of the Ministry of Education and Youth, has told REPORTER.MD that the largest number of contestations this year was recorded in the municipalities of Chisinau and Balti and in Ungheni town. <\/p>\n

According to him, the marks of over 43% of the students that disputed their grades remained unchanged, while the marks of less than 1% of the students were decreased by one point. <\/p>\n

Ghicov also said that most of the students disputed their marks in geography, mathematics and Romanian. <\/p>\n

As many as 8,200 persons or 8% of the total number of students that took Baccalaureate exams disputed their grades this year, as against 12% last year. <\/p>\n
