The ninth edition of the International Music Festival “Faces of Friends” will be held in Cahul town during July 4-6. <\/p>\n

This year, the festival will bring together such singers as Tom Boxer from Romania, Giovani Buzzuro and Daniele Guastella from Italy, Enver and Lenni Izmailov from Ukraine, the band Sensor from Romania, Didier Vanelli from France as well as the Moldovan singers Olia Tira, Adrian Ursu, Geta Burlacu and the bands Nikorason’g and Single Point. <\/p>\n

At a news conference on June 30, the festival’s director Serghei Orlov said that the young talents’ contest will be traditionally held as part of the festival. Representatives from nine countries including Italy, Greece, France, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, Belarus and others will compete in the contest. The presenters of the festival this year will be the Pro FM director Nata Albot and Nicu Timofte. <\/p>\n

According to Orlov, a special party will be organized in the middle of the wood from noon to 7 AM on July 5. There will be played only jazz music. <\/p>\n

The media partners of the project will organize special events, the DJs of Pro FM and dancers from Teodor Dance will give dance lessons in the Independence Square, which will host the festival, on July 5, starting at 17.00. There will be organized photo and autograph sessions. <\/p>\n
