The police identified four persons that were helping Moldovans to migrate abroad using forged Romanian documents and Italian staying permits. <\/p>\n

According to the Interior Ministry, the suspects are Sergiu Buga, 38, the leader of the group, Vitalie Eremia, 36, Sergiu Bolocan, 28, and the policeman Mihail Proca, 37, all Moldovans. <\/p>\n

The police determined that the illegal group had worked for two-three years. The clients were recruited in different settlements of the country. They asked 3,500 to 4.500 euros for their services. The itinerary along which they transported the illegal migrants went through Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Italy. <\/p>\n

The police are investigating the case to establish all the persons involved. Legal action was taken against the four suspects. If found guilty, they could face fines of 10,000 to 16,000 lei or imprisonment of up to three years. <\/p>\n
