More than one hundred Roma representatives will participate at the peaceful marsh which they intend to organize on Tuesday, April 8th, DECA-press Agency transmits. <\/p>\n

The marsh will be organized by the National Roma Centre and it is an action of protest towards the ignorance of the public authorities and the serious social-economical situation of Roma from Moldova. The marsh will last three hours and it will cover three streets from the centre of Chisinau. <\/p>\n

The National Roma Centre asserts that the social situation of Roma people from Moldov hasn’t changed in 17 years since the declaration of the independence of the country. Roma communites have no access to communal services, and the discrimination if s phenomenon often met in schools, medical institutions and in other public places. <\/p>\n

The National Roma Centre will present a letter by means of which it requires the Government from Chisinau to take a series of measures to improve the situation of Roma people and improve their participation at the decision-making process. <\/p>\n
