A convict from the penitentiary of Soroca has come in front of the judge again, being accused that, while staying in prison, he had committed swindle on the phone. His victim was a woman from Glodeni town, DECA-press transmits. <\/p>\n

From the year 2001, the 29-year-old man, originating from the village of Panasesti, Straseni district, has been staying in prison for theft and murder. Since he had a mobile phone in the penitentiary which he kept illegally on him, in February 2007, he called a woman from Glodeni town, convincing her that a close person who went abroad needed a scratchcard for mobile communication. <\/p>\n

According to Glodeni prosecutor Liliana Negrea, the offender has got via swindle six prepaid scratchcards estimated at 1100 lei from the victim. <\/p>\n

The offender’s bad luck was the fact that he had transmitted two of the obtained codes to his sister and mother from the district of Straseni. After that, the police identified him. <\/p>\n

The offender was condemned by the Law Court of Glodeni to ten years’ imprisonemtn for the swindle and theft of goods of another person. <\/p>\n
