A pensioner from the village of Cajba, Glodeni district, manages to store the house wine for a period of over 25 years, DECA-press Agency transmits. <\/p>\n

Vasile Nogai, is 62 years old and is an engine attendant. He says he comes from a dynasty of wine makers, who used to make over 10 tons of natural wine, without any added elements. <\/p>\n

For many years, the man is considered to be the best wine producer from the district, and in the last few yeaes, its wine was appreciated by experts as the best wine in the Northern region of the republic. Despite the fact the pensioner owns over one thousand five hundreds of vine of old sort, planted 65 years ago, he takes care of the vineyards by himself and he sleeps only two hours per day in time of the harvesting time. <\/p>\n

„Some farmers pick up all the grapes. After that, they start crumbling them, pouring the wine in barrels after having stayed for a few days like that. I pick up first the best grapes, crumble them the same day and after that, I leave them to ferment for only 24 hours in a barrel and then I cover it in bottles of glass. Each year, my wine has another taste and smell, because each year, I invent a new experiment”, Vasile Nogai says, confessing only some of his secrets regarding the technology of making wine. <\/p>\n

The wine producer from Cajba stores his production in the cellar during summer. Till spring, his wine is preserved in a larder at a temperature varying between 5 degrees above zero and 5 degrees below zero, warming it in winter with the help of a stove. In this way, he succeeded in preserving the wine produced n 1980 in recipients of glass, and the wine stored since 1995 was considered by regional experts as the best „old wine” from the region of Balti. <\/p>\n

„I have no incomes from my passion for wines. Two years ago, I sold at Moldexpo several bottles of old wine at a price of 180 lei, but in fact I do not find persons willing to realize the price of wine.
