There is no local authonomy in Moldova – this is the conclusion the participants at the public debates in the open air came to on Sunday, in the square of the Opera and Ballet Theatre, an event organized by the Union of Journalists from Moldova, DECA-press communicates.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, several tens of people have participated at the event, including mayors of localities, representatives of the opposition parties, etc. The event focused on the problems of the local public administration. <\/p>\n

The speakers mentioned about the disastrous situation in the local public administration at present, due to the excessive cetralization of power and affirmed that the decentralization of the local powers is a priority. <\/p>\n

In their opinion, Moldova cannot prosper without an efficient public administration. <\/p>\n

The mayor of Floresti, Iurie Tap, declared that before that, they said that Moldova is a heaven. Today, they say that here „people cry and dies of hunger\u0403h. <\/p>\n
