Moldova is registering an increasing tendency of the morbidity among youngsters and the people able to work through renal maladies, in the last years. <\/p>\n

For the third consecutive year, on March 13, the world is celebrating the World Day of Renal Maladies Prevention. In Moldova, the vent takes place for the first time and has the main titles of The Renal Maladies Have Major Incidence and Prevalence, They Are Dangerous, but Curable. It aims at making the population acquainted with the symptoms of the renal maladies in order to prevent the late call for the doctor and to avoid its complications. <\/p>\n

The urinary infections occupy the second place after those of the respiratory tract in the structure of the world morbidity, according to Centre of Preventive Medicine (CMP) Deputy Director Varfolomei Calmîc. There are 400 million people in the world with ill kidneys, and about four-six million people have chronic renal insufficiency. <\/p>\n

In 2007, they registered 464, 4 cases of renal maladies per ten thousand citizens, in Moldova, against 2006, when this index was of 468, 1 cases per ten thousand citizens, according to CMP statistics. The incidence (new cases) through genital – urinary maladies, in 2007, was of 202, 9 cases to ten thousand citizens. Nevertheless, the patients are not treated properly. <\/p>\n
