The deputy Zoia Jalba has become the leader of the European Women’s Forum from Moldova, which was constituted on Saturday, in Chisinau, DECA-press transmits.
\nThis forum worked as a subdivision of the social-political Movement „Actiunea Europeana” and it intends to promote European cultural values and the rights of women from Moldova, as well as to improve the woman’s social status. <\/p>\n

Another priority of the Forum will be to encourage women to participate at the decision-making process. <\/p>\n

Zoia Jalba declared that, only by getting involved in public life, women will be able to solve their problems. <\/p>\n

The leader of the European Women’s Forum from Moldova had previously left the Christian-Democratic People’s Party (PPCD), as she didn’t agree with the policy promoted by the leaders of this faction, especially with the cooperation of the party with the communists in the last few years.
