Chisinau has hosted public debates in the open air on the issue of corruption. The even is a part of a series of debates in the open air which the Union of Journalists from Moldova (UJM) has been organizing for several months, DECA-press Agency informs.
\nThe debates brought together journalists, deputies and common people. Most of them believe that all the bad things in Moldova are connected with corruption issue.
\nThe president of UJM, Valeriu Saharneanu, mentioned that Moldova is a poor state mainly because of corruption, which penetrated in the most important fields of activity.
\nThe deputy from the part of „Moldova Noastra” Alliance, Gheorghe Susarenco, said that he had faced directly this phenomenon and brought forward an example when he had refused a bribe of 200 thousand USD.
\nThe debates from Sunday brought together nearly 500 participants.
