The contest of grants „Market of innovative ideas for youth from Ukraine-Belarus-Moldova 2008”, announced by the World Bank, awarded its winners. The total fund of grants, allocated by the World Bank for all the three countries, is $200 thousand, but this one could be considerably raised by means of the contribution of other donors. The value of a grant cannot exceed $20 thousand, DECA-press transmits.
\nAccording to www.worldbank.org\/md, in total, at the national selection from Moldova, 55 project ideas have been issued. “Of the total number of only 37 were eligible for the assessment. Of the 10 finalist ideas, 7 refer to the opportunities of employment, and 3 – to the healthy life. Four finalist ideas came from the part of nongovernmental organizations from Chisinau, two from Basarabeasca, and per one from the districts of Cahul, Comrat, Taraclia and Ungheni”, the press release of the bank shows.
\nFinalists from Moldova will present the projects in front of the international jury in time of the final stage which will be held in Kiev, in the period of April 3rd-4th.
