As many as six victims are still hospitalized with severe burnings in the Centre of Combustions from Chisinau, and another five with different injuries in the Emergency Hospital from Chisinau, following the explosion that happened in the evening of February 14, in Jumbo commercial centre from Botanica sector, Chisinau. The deflagration was caused by a gas bottle, incorrectly installed, by breaking the exploitation regulations of gas bottles. <\/p>\n

Eight emergency vehicles arrived at the place of the explosion, Emergency Service Coordinator Doctor Anatol Proca has said, contacted by BASA-press. Over 11 people were hospitalized, six of them with severe burnings of first and second degrees, to the Centre of Combustions from Chisinau. Another five clients of the café on the upper floor of the commercial centre were severely injured at their heads and tissues, being hospitalized to the Emergency Hospital. <\/p>\n

“One of the clients was severely burned on all over the body and was hospitalized to the intensive therapy section of the Centre of Combustions. The state of the patient is still a critical one”, Proca said. <\/p>\n

The explosion took place around 18.14, in a café from the fourth floor of the centre, sources from the press bureau of the Direction of Firemen and Rescuers of the Exceptional Situations Department have said, contacted by BASA-press. <\/p>\n

The deflagration destroyed a wall, broke more windows and damaged many goods from inside the building. The fire did not spread following the anti-fire system that was included. <\/p>\n

To avoid another explosion, the service of firemen of Centru sector had to evacuate another two gas bottles that were in another corner of the same building.
