On Thursday, 16 MPs from the opposition submitted a motion in the Parliament, where they accuse the Government for the irresponsible attitude towards the monuments of the country. They suggest deposing the minister of culture and tourism, Artur Cozma, DECA-press Agency communicates.
\nThe authors of the motion claimed that the unauthorized demolition of the historic monument ‘Teodosiu Manson’ compelled them to take actions. The monument was destroyed in 2005. It was situated just in front of the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry.
\nThe opposition asks the prosecution to examine this illegal case of demolition.
\nThey also suggest the Government to take a decision regarding the restoring of ‘Teodosiu Manson’.
\nIf the motion is adopted, the Prime-Minister will personally investigate this case and in three months time he will present a report regarding the state of the protected monuments in the country.
