Approximately 14 thousand social-vulnerable families from the Republic of Moldova, who suffered as a result of the last summer drought, have been already provided forage for kettle due to the financial contribution of the European Commission through the Humanitarian Aid General Department (ECHO) and other donors.
\nAs DECA-press informs, in the next few weeks, over 6 thousand social-vulnerable families, nearly 4,2 of whom are from the Transnistrian region, will be given forage.
\nIn total, approximately 9 thousand tons of forage will be distributed.
\nThe European Commission via the Humanitarian Aid General Department (ECHO) offered the Republic of Moldova 3 million euros for overcoming the crisis of the drought within the project of the United Nations Organization (UNO) „Provoding Urgent Assistance and technical assistance for overcoming the crisis of the drought in Moldova”.
