Andrei, a young man aged 29, gave in to the authorities after he had deserted nine years ago from the special battalion “Fulger” where he was doing his military service, DECA-press Agency informs.
\nDuring this time, Andrei married and became the father of two children.
\nAccording to the military prosecutor, Octavian Lazarev, the court will take into account that the young man did not commit any crime in these nine years. They will also keep in mind that Andrei has the obligation to provide for his family.
\nThere are 37 deserters at the present moment.
