When arrived to the destination, in the village of Selistea Noua, two passengers who got in a taxi in Calarasi town, in the night from January 19th to 20th, at three a.m. Attacked the taxi driver and injured him seriously, DECA-press Agency transmits.
\nThe taxi driver managed to announce his colleagues about the situation via the radio-telephone of the car. His colleagues announced the police which came to help the victim.
\nDue to the solidarity of taxi drivers and cooperation with the policemen, the two aggressors were identified and arrested soon.
\nThe adjunct prosecutor of the Prosecution from Calarasi, Igor Chiriac, said for DECA-press that the two offenders have penal antecedents. They confessed they had attacked the taxi driver to take his car.
\nIn the last period of time, this has been the third case recorded in the district of Calarasi when taxi drivers are attacked for the sake of being stolen the cars.
