The Survey „Freedom in the world\u0403h, elaborated and announced by the American organization „Freedom House\u0403h, placed Republic of Moldova in the series of „partly free\u0403h countries, DECA-press Agency transmits.
\nMoldova was appreciated for the year 2007 with 3 points at the category „political rights\u0403h and 4 points to „civil rights\u0403h. Similar indexes were recorded by Moldova in 2006 as well. The same report mentions that the Transnistrian region, which gathered per six points for both categories (the same score as in 2006), is appreciated as a territoty on which there is no freedom. The neighbours of Republic of Moldova – Romania and Ukraine – are appreciated as „free countries\u0403h. Russia has got the score of 6 points for the „political rights\u0403h and 5 for the „civil rights\u0403h, and it is considered a non-free country.
\nThe freedom indicator is appreciated by „Freedom House\u0403h in the copuntries of thw world according to a schema of calculation of points for „political rights\u0403h and „civil rights\u0403h. A point means the maximal freedom level, and seven points – the lowest level of freedom.
