Lara, a four-year dog of Teckel race, brought from Moscow two years ago to the village of Codrul Nou, district of Telenesti, puzzles people around with his abilities to hunt rats and mice, as well as for his passion for nuts, DECA-press Agency informs.
\nThe owner of the dog, Ion Badan, a retired policeman, asserts that Lara was brought to him from his mother-in-law from the Russian capital. At the beginning, it missed its former owners and the Russian land, Lara got used to Codrul Nou, Badan says.
\nLara breaks the nuts with the teeth but, if there is one nut with a stronger shell, it aiwas patiently for its owners’ help. Since it was brought to Moldova, the dog has become a real hunter of rats and mice. It never eats them, but it leaves the animals in front of the house so that its owners see how talented it is.
