A Christmas tree of nearly 15 metres height, installed on the square in front of the Mayoralty of Calarasi Town, thousands of colourful festoons in shop windows are installed on the occasion of preparation work for the Christmas holidays, DECA-press communicates.
\nThe deputy mayor of Calarasi, Vladimir Susarenco, said the 2036 gifts have been bought for nearly 50 thousand lei for all the children of the town, starting with kindergarten children and finishing with 9th form pupils. Gifts as well as some charity meals are also prepared for some old people of the town on the eve of Christmas and New Year.
\nIn premiere, the Calarasi authorities intend to invite all Calarasi citizens on December 31st evening on the square in front of the mayoralty, where a series of artistic actions will be held with the contribution of the authorities of the mayoralty.
