The fitness rooms have become fashionable in rural localities. A sports complex with modern equipment was opened in the village of Elizaveta, Balti. The action is included in a project financed by USAID, the local authorities and an organization from the locality, DECA-press Agency transmits.
\nThe opening of the sports complex is estimated at six thousand dollars. The money was offered by USAID, the local mayoralty and the Organization „Contentus” from Elizaveta.
\nAliona Burlacu, member of the Organization „Contentus”, says that, a few years ago, the building where today the fitness room is placed burned in fire. Much efforts have been put to renovate the building. The renovation work was much done by the local volunteers and even a Peace Corps volunteer, Burlacu said.
