After having built fences and houses in a traditional manner, a handicraftman from Butesti, Glodeni, builds an annex to his house made of less unusual materials. Valeriu Popa of 41 years old uses clay and bottles of different colours instead of bricks, stones and cement, DECA-press informs. <\/p>\n

„I am building the house the way I know, because I have never seen such things before. At the beginning, people form the village were looking strangely at me. They didn’t believe I would manage to make walls of clay and bottles. Fortunately, I managed to do that from bottles of wine, vodka and champagne. It is difficult to fix the bottles of clay, it would be easier to put them on cement, but I do not have the money for that”, the man says. <\/p>\n

The main problem for him is the lack of bottles in the village of Budesti needed for the finishing the construction. Since he doesn’t have the money to buy them, he almost begs them from his friends and neighbours. <\/p>\n

Butesti has got only several hundreds of inhabitants. Most of them are old people, and Valeriu Popa doesn’t have too many offers for constructions. Since neither he, nor his wife, has a regular job, the family Popa was cut from the electric power source. According to the handicraftman, this is the only reason he cannot finish the construction. <\/p>\n

„I hope to have the money for the electric power till I finish the construction. I will not cover the walls inside, in order for the light to reflect in the bottles. It will be nice.
