The policemen from the Department of Operative Services of the Ministry of Domestic Affairs have discovered a network of introduction, realization and “legalization” of cars “Toyota”, “Honda”, “Mazda” and “VAZ” brought from Russian Federation, DECA-press transmits. <\/p>\n

The representatives of DOS MAI, in common with the police of the Russian Federation, stopped the activity of a group formed of 6 people, aged 25-30 years old, originating from the South of the country, who used to introduce and commercialize in Republic of Moldova cars stolen from CIS countries, in common with citizens from Russia. <\/p>\n

The offenders were well-organized and were working according to a fixed plan: after stealing the means of transport, they changed the registration numbers of the body and of the engine. After that, they used a set of false documents to bring them to Republic of Moldova. Here, the Russian registration numbers were taken away and another set of false documents were made. According to them, the cars were taken out of registration from Russia, and then checked at the customs with the transit numbers and registered in Republic of Moldova according to the legislation. <\/p>\n

The cars were sold at a price lower than on the market, and people were very interested in buying them because the sellers prepared all the necessary documents and registered the cars directly on the buyer’s name. According to the police, 90 such means of transport have been recorded so far. <\/p>\n
