The State Civil Aviation Administration of Moldova (ASAC) announced that it accepted the apologize of Italian aviation authority (ENAC- Italian Civil Aviation Authority) for the behavior of its aviation operator AlpiEagles SpA, which carried out two illegal charter flights to Moldova. <\/p>\n

The Italian aviation authority informed that it stopped the flights of the Italian company to and from Moldova. <\/p>\n

ASAC announced that on April 4 it allowed an Italian passenger airplane to lend on Chisinau airport, even though it did not have the permission of aviation authorities to fly, "only for the respect to Moldovan citizens who were returning home for the Easter holidays". <\/p>\n

Italian company AlpiEagles SpA carried out a charter flight from Venice to Chisinau without having the permission of Moldovan aviation authorities, told ASAC specifying that this is the second such case this week involving the company. <\/p>\n

The aviation authority accused the company of "having repeatedly violated the air space of the Republic of Moldova and the international legislation on carrying out charter flights". <\/p>\n

"There were 100 Moldovan citizens on board of the Italian spaceship who were returning home to spend Easter holidays with their families. To show respect to Moldovan citizens, the national aviation authority did not returned the airplane back to Italy, but allowed it to land on the Chisinau International Airport", the ASAC noted. <\/p>\n

ASAC officials say that they refused to issue the Italian company the permission to carry out charter flights because it submitted "evidently false data" about which the ASAC notified the bodies for the protection of legislation provisions. <\/p>\n
