A guide titled "How To Become Student In Romania" will be distributed for free to graduates from Moldovan lycees who want to study in Romania. The guide will be distributed as part of the action themed "Caravan of Admission", which will take place in Moldova from July 27 to August 3. <\/p>\n

The action will be organised by the Group of Civic Attitude (GdAC), a non-governmental organisation of Moldovan and Ukrainian youths who study in Romania. The caravan will pass through the settlements of Giurgiulesti, Slobozia Mare, Vulcanesti, Comrat, Cimislia, Causeni, Anenii Noi, Chisinau, Criuleni, Orhei, Rezina, Floresti, Soroca, Drochia, Edinet, Balti, Glodeni, Falesti, Ungheni, Hancesti, Leova, Cahul. <\/p>\n

According to GdAC representatives, the guide will be distributed in order to cover the lack of information about the admission and education in Romania, as well as the rules of application for high and higher studies at the admission centres in Iasi and Galati. The guide also contains official information about university centres, faculties and specialties, number of available seats, scholarships, and tuition. <\/p>\n

Officials of Romanian universities will answer questions of lycee students and graduates during meetings in those settlements. <\/p>\n

The Romanian government has offered 1,150 post-university and university long and short-term scholarships for Moldovan youths in the 2003-04 academic year. Another 700 lycee scholarships will be allocated for gymnasium graduates. <\/p>\n
