Cultural events, occasioned by the 15th anniversary of Moldova’s independence will be conducted during a week, throughout Moldova, starting 21 August. <\/p>\n

A national scientific practical conference, Moldova – Our Common Home will be held at the Bureau for Interethnic Relations on 21 August. The participants will also approach the ways of integration into European structures. <\/p>\n

O 22 august, the Bridgehead Serpeni will host a ceremony on commemoration of soldiers dead in the fight for releasing Moldova from the fascist occupation. <\/p>\n

Also on 22 August, an international scientific conference will be conducted at the Moldovan academy of science, 15 Years of Moldova’s Independence. <\/p>\n

A meeting, followed by laying flowers will be held at the Eternity Memorial Compound, on 24 August. <\/p>\n

The national motor rally, the Independence’s Cup, will start on the Great National Assembly Square, on 25 August, which will finalize on 26 August on the same place, where Moldovan music bands and singers will perform on this occasion. <\/p>\n

A festive concert dedicated to the 15th anniversary since the proclamation of Moldova’s independence will be given at the National Palace on 26 August. <\/p>\n

27 August, the Independence Day, will start with a divine service at the God’s Birth Cathedral, which will continue with laying flowers at the Monument to Stefan cel Mare si Sfint. <\/p>\n

The official opening of he renovated street Pan Halipa will be held at the Eternity Memorial Compound. The ceremony will continue with laying flowers at the monument to heroes dead for Moldova’s independence and territorial integrity. <\/p>\n

A wide cultural programme will be conducted on Great National Assembly Square, starting 10:00. More Moldovan music bands, among which National Popular Orchestra, Lautarii, Academic Band of Popular Dances, Joc, Moldovan stars of folk and light music will participate in the event. <\/p>\n

Near the end of the holiday, Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin will come with a congratulatory message to all the country’s citizens. <\/p>\n
