The drinking water systems in residence blocks will be administered by water suppliers. The Government Wednesday approved amendments to the regulations concerning the provision and payment of public communal services. <\/p>\n

The amendments stipulate that the service providers must sign contracts directly with the consumers. <\/p>\n

Igor Semenovker, head of the Agency for Constructions and Territorial Development, said that if the internal water supply systems are administered by the suppliers the services provided will improve. The suppliers will bear responsibility for the water losses that are often included in the bills to be paid by consumers. <\/p>\n

Seminovcher also said that the payment for the technical service of the networks will be included in a separate bill and in such a way the money will reach the service providers. <\/p>\n
