Although the draft is being discussed for six years, it was not delivered to the parliament for approval so far,&quot; he added. <\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Sergiu Sainciuc, who presented the draft concerned at a cabinet sitting, has told journalists that the minimum food consumption basket was established on basis of particularities of traditional consumption, season, city-village, age particularities, &quot;at real prices&quot;. The cost of manufactured goods and services included in the minimum consumption basket covers the minimum of dwelling, communal and transportation services. <\/p>\n<p>Sainciuc noted that the minimum consumption basket calculated for last year after the old methodology was 766.1 lei and it is by 76.9 lei lower, notably 689.2 lei, if calculated on basis of the new methodology. <\/p>\n<p>The executive approved the new regulation on mode of calculation of the minimum consumption basket on August 2.
