Three minors got drowned last weekend while swimming. <\/p>\n

According to the Emergency Situations Department (DSE) of the Interior Ministry, a 3-year-old child slipped into water while walking together with a relative by boat on a lake in Orhei. Although the child was supervised by an adult, the latter has failed to rescue him. The body of the child was not found yet. <\/p>\n

Also last weekend, two sisters from the Balti municipality aged 8 and 10 years got drowned while swimming in a prohibited place – a channel – without being supervised. <\/p>\n

According to DSE sources, five persons got drowned in Moldova this summer, including four minors. The unsupervised children and the incautious swimming are the main causes. <\/p>\n
