The medical institutions have started vaccinating against flu the high-risk categories of people. <\/p>\n

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, medical workers, who most often come in contact with the flu-infected patients, children from residential institutions of closed type, employees of ecological and customs services, of the Interior Ministry, of poultry-breeding enterprises, crew members, as well as persons exposed to an increased risk of complications in case of being infected with flu, are part of the risk group. <\/p>\n

The cited source says that 80,000 persons will be vaccinated against flu this year. As many as 40,000 anti-flu doses are stored at present at the National Scientific-Practical Center of Preventive Medicine. Another similar quantity is to be stocked up. <\/p>\n

This year the Ministry of Health and Social Protection purchased anti-flu vaccines exclusively from the prevention funds of the National Health Insurance Company. <\/p>\n

The vaccination will be performed in special immunization rooms in family doctors centers by specialists trained in people vaccination. Temporary inoculation rooms will be set up in the medical institutions that do not have vaccination rooms. <\/p>\n
