Chisinau is waiting for the European legislation translated in Romanian and promised by Bucharest authorities, said the minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, Andrei Stratan. On the other hand, the Romanian Ambassador in Chisinau, Filip Teodorescu, has reiterated the availability of the Romanian state to offer the Republic of Moldova the entire Acquis communitaire translated in Romanian. <\/p>\n

Andrei Stratan told the press, during the break at the regional conference “European Integration Experience of the Baltic States: Recommendations for Moldova”, that at the moment the Moldovan authorities were expecting from Romania at least the partial translation of the European legislation. The Minister underscored that this agreement has been reached during the visit to Chisinau of the Romanian President Traian Basescu. <\/p>\n

At the same conference, the Romanian Ambassador to Chisinau declared that his state was ready to offer the Republic of Moldova the complete Romanian translation of Acquis communitare. According to Filip Teodorescu, the Romanian version of the European legislation has over 100 thousand pages. <\/p>\n

Moldovan deputies intend to harmonize the entire national legislation with the community legislation by the year 2009. The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova will adopt a national strategy in this connection in autumn this year. <\/p>\n
