Moldova risks being sanctioned and excluded from the ranks of the countries to participate in the International Contest �Eurovision-2006� on account of the dubious Chisinau televoting results for the current edition that took place in Kiev. <\/p>\n

MP of the Christian Democratic People�s Party Angela Arama-Leahu stated at Thursday�s meeting of the Parliament that �it�s widely rumored that Moldova will be excluded from the contest if the things aren�t clarified. The televoting results aroused suspicions both inside the country and abroad.� <\/p>\n

Arama-Leahu requested from Minister of Information Development Vladimir Molojen to present the technical-organizational aspect of the televoting and its official results. Molojen replied that according to the contractual obligations of the organizers the data of the voting cannot be revealed under any circumstances. <\/p>\n

�Otherwise, Moldova�s image could be damaged and the European organizations would avoid having relations with our companies. Eurovision is a commercial project and for this reason all the reciprocal rules and relations are established by the organizers,� specified Molojen. <\/p>\n

On the basis of Molojen�s statements, MP Arama-Leahu submitted an intimation to Attorney General Valeriu Balaban in which she seeks for the results of the tender for the election of the company that was to monitor the televoting to be presented and for the fact that the voting results cannot be made public to be confirmed. <\/p>\n

�It must be investigated which results of the Moldovan vote were transmitted to the European organizer, of the jury or of the TV viewers.
