The culture and rest park �Valea Morilor� from Chisinau municipality received the status of monument of landscape architecture, according to a decision project adopted Thursday by the Parliament in first reading.<\/p>\n

According to the deputy minister of the Ecology and Natural Resources, Petru Silvestru, the state is to take under protection and reestablish all the historical, cultural, esthetic and entertaining components of the Park "Valea Morilor". Also, this object will be included in the fund of the natural areas protected by the state.<\/p>\n

The culture and rest park �Valea Morilor� was founded in 1951, having initially a surface of 113.9 hectares. In 2003, four hectares from this area were declared as exclusive property of the state and transmitted to the Administration of the Free Enterprise Zone �Expo-Business-Chisinau�.<\/p>\n
