Forces of order traced and stopped a new channel of trafficking in human beings, which was organized by a 70-year-old woman. <\/p>\n

Head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Andrei Slutu told REPORTER.MD that the channel’s organizer Raisa Goreanscaia, aged 70, together with her son, Veaceslav Mamciurenco, 42, and a friend, Vera Ostapenco, aged 59, were employees of the National Gymnastic Federation of the Republic of Moldova, at the Rhythmic Gymnastics department. <\/p>\n

Upon investigations it was established that the three suspects recruited, on behalf of the organization were they worked, persons that intended to go abroad. <\/p>\n

In accordance with the applicants’ age they perfected the documents for going abroad. Thus, the recruited persons were to go abroad as "coaches", "referees", "teachers of physical training and sport" and even "gymnasts". <\/p>\n

Slutu specified that the officers of the Division for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings ascertained that Raisa Goreanscaia practiced this kind of activity illicitly for about two years, and the visa’s price was of about 2.500 Euros. <\/p>\n

The cited source mentioned that during the operations the forces of order co-worked with the Consulate of Portugal in Bucharest, from where sets of primary forged documents on the basis of which the involved persons organized the illegal migration were taken away. <\/p>\n
