Right now, Polish food stuffs exported to Russia have undergone tighter scrutiny at the borders, which, if maintained, might bring considerable losses to this sector of economy. There is no question of coincidence in these two events within such a short time.<\/p>\n<p>Paradoxically, Russian actions against Ukraine have brought results counterproductive to the ones which were aimed for. They have consolidated Ukrainian government&rsquo;s and the opposition&rsquo;s position on EU integration, which can be seen in the most recent declarations from both sides that Ukraine is determined to adopt all outstanding laws and accelerate the integration process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><strong>Moldova.ORG: Could a similar scenario be the case for Moldova, given that the country expects to initial the Association Agreement with the EU?<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em> <br \/>\n<strong>Jacek Saryusz-Wolski:<\/strong> Russia has been very clear about its readiness to undertake similar measures against Eastern Partnership countries that will choose the path of European integration to the detriment of the Eurasian (Customs) Union project.
