Russian envoy for Transnistrian conflict, Dmitry Rogozin has planned a visit to the separatist region of Moldova for September 2nd when the enclave marks its &ldquo;independence,&rdquo; the day when the region decided to split from Moldova and not obey the constitutional and world-widely recognized Government in Chisinau.<\/p>\n<p>Russia continues to strengthen Transnistria by developing economic and social programs designed to earn the people&rsquo;s trust and spark more reluctance among them towards Moldova.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Tiraspol-based news agency Tiras.ru published an article on Wednesday saying that the Russian official comes to Transnistria to support politically, morally, psychologically and economically the Transnistrian leader, Evgheny Shevchuk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The outlet reports that Mr. Rogozin will make public some ideas for upcoming economic and humanitarian projects in the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Russian official is also expected to visit Chisinau where he will have meetings with top officials.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Analysts believe that Russia seeks to hinder Moldova from getting so close to the European Union and even becoming partly-independent when it comes to energy resources.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Berlin-based political expert Anneli Ute Gabanyi, said in an interview with Radio Free Europe\/Radio Liberty that Moldova currently undergoes a crucial and important period until the Vilnius Summit when the country is expected to initial the Association Agreement with the European Union.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&ldquo;Russia makes all sorts of offers and even puts pressure [on Moldova]. Although subtly, it wants to show that Moldova will not be able to refrain from the energy dependence on Russia,&rdquo; Anneli Ute Gabanyi said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A few days after Russian envoy&rsquo;s trip to Moldova, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia will also arrive in Chisinau. Later on he will travel to Tiraspol.
