However, the official claimed that &ldquo;the third alliance government will have to introduce some serious changes&rdquo; and learn from the previous mistakes.<\/p>\n<p>In an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.europalibera.org\/content\/article\/25003384.html#hash=audio_menu\">interview<\/a> with Radio Free Europe\/Radio Liberty, Mr. Schuebel mentioned that the EU wants to see that serious reforms are being undertaken and not only nice words towards the officials in Brussels are being voiced.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&ldquo;We will look very carefully that the reform process is seriously continued, that the fight against corruption is intensified. Only this way the country will remain on a strong pro-European agenda. If these reforms are continued, the European Union is the first one to stand ready to provide the necessary support to implement those important steps that need to be done,&rdquo; Dirk Schuebel said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The European diplomat pointed out that the new alliance&rsquo;s task is to work for the people and not for personal or party interests. He emphasized that depolitization of state institutions &ldquo;is necessary in order to avoid a similar political crisis.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">EU&rsquo;s Foreign Affairs Chief Catherine Ashton and Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule, said in a joint statement that they &ldquo;warmly welcome&rdquo; the appointment of this cabinet which &ldquo;puts an end to a protracted political crisis that has endangered the stability of Moldova&#8217;s state institutions.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The officials invite both the authorities and the citizens of Moldova to contribute on the constitutional reform which is needed to &ldquo;strengthen systemic checks and balances, and to prevent the emergence of similar crises in the future.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&ldquo;We call on the state authorities, the political class and civil society to pay close attention to the importance of ensuring the impartial, rule-based, transparent and effective functioning of all institutions, including law-enforcement bodies and regulatory agencies; and the defense of diversity, pluralism and quality in the media landscape,&rdquo; the European officials said in their statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Moldovan Parliament voted on May 30 a new Government.
