The United States of America took note of the no-confidence vote against the Government and calls upon the Moldovan leadership to generate &ldquo;a path forward that upholds democratic principles and the rule of law.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/politicom.moldova.org\/news\/communists-oust-proeuropean-government-of-moldova-235623-eng.html\">Moldovan Government was ousted<\/a> on Tuesday amid a no-confidence vote which passed with 54 votes of the Communist Party, Democrat Party and several non-affiliated deputies.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The U.S. joins our international partners in reinforcing the importance of continued focus on Moldova&#8217;s ambitious reform agenda and its goal of European integration for the benefit of Moldova, its people, and its future,&rdquo; the U.S. Embassy to Moldova said in a press statement.<\/p>\n<p>Moldova&rsquo;s Western neighbor, Romania is hopeful that the political parties in Moldova will prove efficient and further strengthen the relationship with the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is confident that the political forces from Chisinau will tackle the current situation with responsibility and maturity, and enhance the relations with the EU, based on the expectations of the citizens of Moldova,&rdquo; a press release of the Romanian Foreign Minister reads.<\/p>\n<p>According to the same statement, Romania re-emphasizes its full commitment in supporting the pro-European future of Moldova, including the achievement of the goals set for the upcoming summit of the Eastern Partnership that is due to take place in Vilnius later this year.<\/p>\n<p>European Union has also <a href=\"http:\/\/politicom.moldova.org\/news\/eu-political-parties-in-moldova-should-engage-in-genuine-political-dialogue-without-delay-235631-eng.html\">reacted to the latest developments<\/a> in Moldova.
