Communist Party of the Republic of Moldova wants to overthrow the Government. The Communists sent in the Parliament a request to initiate a vote of no-confidence against the current cabinet led my Liberal-Democrat Premier Vlad Filat.<\/p>\n

All 34 Communist Deputies signed the proposal which is due to be examined and voted in Parliament on Tuesday. There are 51 votes needed to remove the Government. Democrats said they might support the Communists’ initiative and vote in favor, whereas the Liberal Party and Liberal-Democrat Party said they will not support the no-confidence vote.<\/p>\n

Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti is also against removing the legislative and calls on further negotiations between the leaders of the ruling coalition – the Alliance for European Integration (AEI).<\/p>\n

AEI has experienced some trouble recently amid misunderstandings between the leaders of the three parties forming the Alliance (Liberal Party, Democrat Party and Liberal-Democrat Party).<\/p>\n

If the Government falls in no-confidence vote, Moldova might face new elections, as the Communists warned.<\/p>\n
