The Communist MP and lawyer, Sergiu Sârbu announced that he left the Party of Communists and its parliamentary group. The announcement was made public today, 12th<\/sup> December, during a briefing.<\/span><\/p>\n

He thanked his party colleagues, especially PCRM leader, for the support and joint activity.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Sergiu Sârbu, there is no longer wish for reform in the party and it becomes a radical one. "PCRM could not fully assert itself as an opposition party. (…)There were mistakes. We no longer understand how many we are and what we do”, the lawyer said at the press conference.<\/span><\/p>\n

So far the former Communist didn’t announce about his political future. He stated that if he would join a political party, it would definitely be a left one”. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sergiu Sârbu is the eighth MP who leaves the PCRM during the last year. Earlier, the MPs Igor Dodon, Zinaida Greceanii and Veronica Abramciuc left PCRM and joined the Party of Socialists. Later Vadim Misin, Oleg Babenco and Tatiana Botnariuc left the party. Ion Ceban left the Communist Party in September this year.<\/span><\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
