Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski is expected to pay a visit to Moldova on December 3rd. The announcement was made on Monday by the Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat who is currently in Warsaw.<\/p>\n

The Polish head of state will come together with a team of businessmen. They are going to participate in the second Moldovan-Polish businessmen forum which is meant to strengthen the bilateral economic ties, as well as stimulating the Polish investments in Moldova.<\/p>\n

Another top priority might be the finalization of the third Meeting of the Polish-Moldovan Commission for Economic Affairs, employees of the Polish Embassy in Chisinau said unofficially.<\/p>\n

The economic relations between the countries are fairly good at the moment, especially considering that Poland is EU’s number one member state to import Moldovan wines.<\/p>\n

During his meeting with the Polish President on Monday, Vlad Filat pointed out that Moldova is advancing through the talks with the European Union which include the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area and the liberalization of the visa regime.<\/p>\n

“Our goal is to conclude the negotiations until the Eastern Partnership Summit, which will take place in November 2013,” Vlad Filat said in Warsaw.<\/p>\n
