The European Union may reintroduce the travel ban within the European Community for some people from Tiraspol administration. The penalty will be applied for those who make heavy the resolution of remaining problems related to Moldovan schools with teaching in Latin script and located on the left bank of Nistru. The statement was made by the Head of EU Delegation to Moldova, Dirk Shuebel in an interview for epresa.md.<\/p>\n

“The Council of the European Union removed the travel restrictions imposed in 2003 for former political leadership of the Transnistrian region of Moldova. By this, the Council of EU acknowledges the progress made within 5+2 negotiation process. However, the travel ban may be reintroduced for those who hinder the resolution of remaining problems related to Moldovan schools on the left bank of Nistru with teaching in Latin script”, Dirk Shuebel stated.<\/p>\n

The Head of EU Delegation to Moldova is optimistic regarding the resolution of the Transnistrian conflict and announces that at the end of November a meeting will be held in Dublin, during which several issues on social and political situation in Moldova will be addressed. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
