In an interview with TV7 channel, the Head of EU Delegation to Chisinau Dirk Schuebel said that the country he is working in is a very important state for the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I have been working in Chisinau three years, and I can testify that this is really so,&rdquo; Dirk Schuebel said, quoted by Infotag news agency. &ldquo;The Republic of Moldova is a very important country for the European Union. Europe has come to know Moldova from the positive side, too, not only through the prism of the Transnistrian conflict.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>He assures the Moldovans that they are on the correct way. The EU official acknowledges that the effects of the implemented reforms cannot be seen yet, but he claimed that they will be observed soon.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You are on a correct way. Citizens cannot feel the results of reforms yet, that&#8217;s right. The truth is that results cannot come immediately. But they will start showing soon,&rdquo; the Head of the EU Delegation said.<\/p>\n<p>Moldova is expected to sign the Association Agreement with the EU by the end of 2013, as the EU Commission said.
