The Moldovan Government has approved a draft bill on the ratification of the agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union over the facilitation of visa issuance.<\/p>\n

The agreement sent in for ratification involves many advantages for Moldovan citizens willing to travel to the EU member states. This implies increasing the number of persons to benefit of getting travel documents easier, increasing the number of people who will be subject to tax-free visas, as well as offering multiple entries visas.
\nAccording to the Government, the agreement does not imply any additional costs and will not negatively influence the economy of the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n

The citizens of Moldova need a visa in order to travel to any European country. A national visa costs 60 Euro, while a Schengen visa – 35 Euro. The applicants have to prove they are going to return to Moldova and that they have sufficient financial resources for the whole stay period.<\/p>\n
