Moldovans living on both banks of Nistru River will easily travel across Nistru in Transnistria and back due to an agreement between sides. The persons won’t experience difficulties in crossing the so-called border between Moldova and Transnistria, according to a press release of the Moldovan Government.<\/p>\n

“In order to establish all the necessary conditions for a free and secure movement of the citizens, Premier Vlad Filat asked all the competent authorities to ease the movement of the Moldovan citizens during the Easter Holidays on both banks of Nistru River,” informs the same statement.<\/p>\n

The free movement will be enacted during April 14-16 and April 21-23.<\/p>\n

All the Moldovans will be required to show only their identification card and the customs officers will check their expiration date and their photo. No additional actions will be made.<\/p>\n

The Moldovan authorities from Chisinau are hopeful that the Transnistrian leadership will take similar measures towards the people residing on the right bank of Nistru.<\/p>\n

“This way we will continue strengthening our détente,” shows the press statement.<\/p>\n
